Sutton United face a tricky Skrill South clash tonight when they welcome Gosport Borough to Gander Green Lane.

While United look to extend their unbeaten run to 11 games, Gosport have a date at Wembley on Sunday in the final of the FA Trophy.

Their run in the competition has left the south coast club struggling at the wrong end of the table, but with a hatful of games in hand.

Last time out, United had to come from 2-0 down to salvage a point amid the storm force gales in February - Simon Dower and Jamie Slabber getting the goals.

United boss Paul Doswell said: "I can see Gosport resting a few players ahead of Saturday, and some fans may think they will be distracted by that and be an easy three points - but that is not the case all.

"You can easily see the players who are selected for tonight playing their hearts out to get a place on the bench at Wembley, so we need to be wary of that."

Tonight will be Charlie Clough's last game before he starts a two-match ban for his red card at Farnborough, while winger Dale Binns will miss the visit of Bath City on March 29 for his two yellow cards against Basingstoke - a double Doswell thought was harsh.

"Dale was booked for time-wasting in the first half, which was unfair, and then he was booked for pulling Kezie Ibe back in the second half," he said.

"But when you look at the video, it's clear that Ibe's got his arm round Dale and has fouled him first, so Dale was unlucky in my book."
