Players and staff from AFC Wimbledon popped in to St George's Hospital to visit sick children.
Young patients in the Lanesborough Wing were surprised to see some of their heroes walk in to the Lanesborough Wing yesterday.
The children are in Frederick Hewitt Ward and Nicholls Ward which are specialist rehabilitation units for youngsters recovering from surgery.
Chris Slavin, club spokesman, said: "It was absolutely brilliant, the kids were thrilled to see the full squad and Neal Ardley."
The club is lying in 12th place in Sky Bet League Two.
