After being awarded £50,000 from the Budweiser Club Futures programme, Raynes Park Vale has its eye on a much bigger cash windfall, and fans can help.
Vale now go head-to-head with seven other UK clubs for a further £100,000 super grant, backed by the FA.
Each club has made a video, which appears on facebook.com/budweiseruk and facebook.com/thefacup, and fans have until February 28 to log on and vote on who should get the jackpot cheque.
Club committee member Simon Moore said: “Winning the £50,000 grant is already a massive boost for our club.
"We have exciting and ambitious plans to expand our youth section and winning an additional £100k would mean we can make further needed improvements including new training facilities to provide a better and safer environment for the juniors, seniors, parents, supporters and the local community."
The club were presented with the £50,000 grant by former Wimbledon manager Dave Bassett in December.
Budweiser Club Futures ambassador, Alan Pardew, said: “Having started my career at grassroots level, I know just how hard it is to sustain a local club and can appreciate the importance of a programme like Budweiser Club Futures.
“The clubs have already received a significant amount of money at the £50,000 stage but this injection would be like a huge lottery win for one club.
"We had some great applications at the £50,000 stage and had hard decisions to make in choosing the eight winning clubs.
"This is why we thought it best to hand the £100,000 vote over to the football fans.”
Raynes Park are up against AFC Blackpool, Blyth Town, Evergreen, Bardon Hill, Pegasus Juniors, South Park and Camelford.
