Beddington Cricket Club start search for the stars of tomorrow (From Surrey Comet)

Pick up a bat or ball, and take advantage of a free taster training session with Beddington Cricket Club

Beddington Cricket Club is looking for the stars of tomorrow as it starts its winter nets sessions.

The training sessions start tonight (Friday, January 25) at Wallington County Grammar School, and will take place every Friday for 10 weeks.

This first session is a free taster for all, while the remaining nine sessions will cost £40 if paid in advance.

The club has UKCC level two coaches on hand to teach as many youngsters as possible the ins and outs (excuse the pun) of picking up a cricket bat or ball.

Hour-long sessions start at 6.30pm for ages eight to 11, and 7.30pm for ages 12 to 16.
