O'Shea's warning: Quins boss has a warning for his sleepy troops who only just overcome the Warriors SP68694
Harlequins director of rugby Conor O’Shea admitted the nervy 22-19 victory over Worcester Warriors can serve as a wake-up call to his troops.
The reigning champions were made to work all the way to the final whistle by a resolute Warriors side who came within a whisker of picking up their first away victory of the season.
In the end it was Nick Evans’ late drop-goal that proved the difference for Quins.
O’Shea said: “It’s a win, that’s all you can say about it. There was just no flow, no momentum, no nothing in the game.
“It’s a very good wake-up call before going into the Heineken Cup, and there is a huge amount of expectation.”
