Top TV and radio presenter Becky Ives will host the 2017 Kingston Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner in association with British Land and USS.

The Heart FM star, who presents to worldwide TV audiences for ESPN, Bleacher Report and Red Bull TV, will compere the prestigious awards ceremony at the luxurious Ravens Ait on Thursday, October 12.

The black-tie event is the hot ticket for Kingston’s business community, as the winners of the 11 category awards and coveted title, Business of the Year, are finally revealed.

The Royal Borough’s premier business awards attracted high quality entries across all categories. The 70 shortlisted entries now go forward to the second round of judging in September.

Independent adjudicator, Ross Sturley of Chart Lane, who drew up the shortlist, says the standard of entry this year was excellent.

He commented: “It’s great to see the overall quality of entries improve year on year, which they undoubtedly have – Kingston has some great business stories! I was particularly struck this year by the Customer Service entries, and by those in the Independent Retailer category, which both had a particularly strong crop this year. There’s a clear link between them, there must be something in the Kingston water!”

The fifth annual Kingston Business Excellence Awards are hosted by founding partners Kingston Council, Kingston Chamber of Commerce and Kingston First. They recognise and celebrate the successes and achievements of the Royal Borough’s booming business community.

Tickets are on sale now for the Gala Dinner at Ravens Ait on the River Thames by Kingston. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception, a three course dinner with wine, as well as entertainment and dancing.  You can book now at: www.kingstonawards.co.uk

The awards are organised by White Label for Kingston Council, Kingston Chamber of Commerce and Kingston First. The headline sponsors are Kingston’s Eden Walk Partnership of British Land and Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS). The awards categories are sponsored by Kingston University, McDonalds, Bentalls, CNM Estates, Kingston College, Antoinette Hotels, Exchange@Kingston and Natwest, and supported by Kingston Burrows, Palmer Wealth Management and Ravens Ait.
