The Garden Show at  Loseley Park, Guildford, Surrey GU3 1HS
ART, DESIGN, YOUR HOME, YOUR GARDEN & …. YOU!
28 - 30 July 2017
Open 10am – 5pm daily

It’s the sixth year of The Garden Show at Loseley Park in July 2017. The perfect event to find all you need to enhance your home, help your garden grow and give all the family a great day out.

A great opportunity to explore what’s on the doorstep; source new talent, designers and artisans and browse 200 affordable and handpicked stands showcasing the latest specialist plants, garden and home accessories, art, design, sculpture, fashion, toys and a multitude of other lovely goodies. Treat your taste buds to tempting foods and wines and join in with all the delicious tastings in the Country Food marquee. There is something at the show that will appeal to everyone!

This is the place to pick up top tips from horticultural experts to solve those frustrating problems – they know what they are talking about.

As ever the specialist plantsmen will bring good advice along with an abundance of beautiful plants to the Show and, with the Plant Doctors Steve and Val Bradley, they will help solve your gardening conundrums. There will be  daily talks on gardening and country matters including Ben Cross on Sunday extolling the virtues of the British cut flower industry ’British Flower’s Rock’.

It is an excellent time to relax and explore Loseley: the stunning parkland and the incredibly beautiful walled gardens, all included in the Garden Show ticket.

There will be a free guided walk on Friday with Loseley’s head gardener explaining the work required to keep the walled gardens in good health and blooming. The garden show ticket has the added bonus of offering a special discounted entry to the free flow tours of the downstairs rooms of beautiful Loseley House.

Don’t forget...it’s not all about gardening. New for 2017: relish ‘The Cooking Demonstrations’ and admire The Studio Shop artisans demonstrating and sharing their expertise. Plus Jake Whitcroft will be demonstrating the skills and tools used in willow weaving whilst Funky Fusers are offering workshops in fusing glass designs and everyone from 5 years upwards can have a go at archery with Target Zone from Midland Adventures.

There is plenty to keep all the family occupied and entertained: Huxley Birds of Prey will soar to the skies to the music of the wandering Jazz Magic along with vintage vocalist Lianna Haynes with songs from the 50s & 60s whilst your children are entertained by puppet shows, juggling, face painting, toddler carousel entertainment and bouncy fun for older children.

The Show is in support of Shooting Star Chase, a heartfelt charity caring for families with a child or teenager with life-limiting conditions. They will be running a Shopping Crèche & Carry Service - so there is no need to be burdened down with all the purchases!

There is also ‘The Giant Tombola’ with fabulous prizes generously donated by the garden show exhibitors and ‘Guess How Many Stars in the Jar’ to win a wine and food matching masterclass for up to 10 people. www.shootingstarchase.org.uk

The show is still fairly young but is growing year on year as it travels along its own garden path, with the original concept holding true, to give visitors the opportunity to source an innovative range of items for the garden and house which are not easily found on the high street.

Come to the garden party and revitalise your garden and home whilst treating yourself. Life continues to be very good at The Garden Show so take some time out to enjoy!
