Fern Hill Primary School Kingston, ran their socks off in a sponsored run to raise money for the schools chosen local charities EnhanceAble & Love Kingston.

All children and teaching staff from reception through to year 6, ran as many laps as they could manage around the school grounds.  Supported by parents, on a blisteringly hot day they did themselves proud raising a total of £1,877.00.  The charities were chosen by the children who voted to support their preferred local charity.

Both Love Kingston & EnhanceAble local charities will share the money the children raised which will be presented to them on July 3rd in our school assembly.  Charity representatives and Fern Hill governors will be in attendance to receive their cheques and congratulate the children on their fundraising efforts.

Fern Hill aim to develop citizenship, community links, British values and children's understanding of the wider world.  Our school values are Inspiration, Collaboration, Empathy and Excellence and we aim to develop these within our community links.
