ACS Cobham International School recently reigned victorious at the International School Sports Tournaments (ISSTs) after 75 students competed across Europe in five different sports. 

The ACS Cobham Athletics team, who travelled to Paris for the tournament, were crowned overall champions after winning various individual events. The two-day tournament hosted by The American School of Paris saw the Cobham athletes compete against students from Austria, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Egypt, and Switzerland.
 
The senior team dominated the 12 team 36 event competition breaking several ISST records along the way.
 
Dave Schuchter, Athletic Director at ACS Cobham International School, commented:
 
“There were some outstanding individual and team performances from all of our ACS Cobham sports teams at this year's ISST European Championships, in particular, our Athletics team in Paris. Each year at the ISST Championships our students display exemplary sportsmanship and truly step up to the mark when competing against their international peers. This is a fantastic opportunity to play competitive sport at venues across Europe, while making friends and having fun.”
 
Various other ACS Cobham sports teams also returned from their ISST competitions victorious. The ACS Cobham baseball team faced strong competiton from Germany and Belgium and brought back the silver medal losing in the championship game to their rival, The American School in London.
 
The ACS Cobham tennis team was also celebrating, after both the Girls and Boys senior teams placed second and securing the silver medal in their respective tournaments.  Competing in Munich, the teams faced schools from Frankfurt, Paris, London and Vienna, narrowly missing out on the gold.
