On Saturday 20th May, The Fircroft Trust celebrated it's 50th Anniversary with a fantastic day of fun.

This local mental health and learning disabilities charity, has been working in Kingston since 1967 to support vulnerable people in the community.

The charities Patron, Bishop Richard Cheetham cut a celebratory cake and released balloons to symbolise how far mental health service provision has come over the past 50 years and all the people at The Fircroft Trust has helped over the years.

One of the charities Trustee's, Susannah Horwood said "to celebrate with all of our service users, residents, volunteers, staff, supporters and their families was truly one of the highlights of this, our 50th Anniversary Year.  We would like to thank everyone who supported the event and particularly the Yr9 and Yr7 boys from Southborough High School who volunteered on the day".
