Asda in Kingston has launched a search to find the town’s King of Kingston. Dads, granddads, uncles and brothers can all be nominated as part of the competition, which is taking place to treat a deserving local for Father’s Day.

Men of all ages can be nominated by family, friends or work colleagues and could be eligible for a whole host of reasons, whether they have involvement with improving the community, or they simply bring a smile to faces everywhere. They will be awarded with a Father’s Day hamper, which will be made up of a selection of Asda products.

Nominations are being accepted up to Friday 26th May and should include contact details for the nominee, as well as the reasons for the nomination. These can then be sent via email to katie.dryland@havas.com, or in writing to: Asda King of Kingston, Havas PR, 3rd floor, 52 Princess Street, Manchester, M1 6JX.

General store manager, Jess Ayres, said: “We love to be involved with our local community and customer’s lives.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing the entries, and hearing about all the great people that help to make up our local community in Kingston.”
