Elmbridge Rentstart is proud to be supporting one of their Ambassador’s Nick Wade as he sets off to walk 100 miles from Walton to Bath over five days starting out on the 20th March 2017.
Nick has received Rentstart’s support in the past as he became homeless due to a relationship breakdown. He wanted to give something back to help other local people in need and is raising sponsorship for his walk from Surrey to Somerset.
Nick’s involvement with Elmbridge Rentstart has deepened over the last two years since his life has turned around. He has been regularly volunteering, spreading the word about the work Renstart does, speaking at conferences and advising Trustees.
Helen Watson, CEO of Elmbridge Rentstart said: “We are all wishing Nick well on his journey, he gives so much of his time to help other local people and his work as Elmbridge Rentstart’s Ambassador means that more people understand the reality and impact of homelessness.”
Nick set off on his walk at 7am from Walton Bridge on Monday 20th March 2017. If any readers would like to sponsor him please take a look at his fundraising page: https://mydonate.bt.com/events/wwwelmbridgerentstartorguk/422192
