I have been regularly using this road for 4 years to drive my children to nursery and had no idea that the changes were taking place.
I paid this fine the first time I accidentally turned into and passed through the road with the new restrictions.
The second time was "autopilot" but I reversed and drove out before passing through the bollards when I realised my mistake but I was still fined again and my appeal was rejected (particularly distressing at Christmas time).
I clearly had no intention of ignoring the restriction and did not pass through the road the second time so I am disgusted to have had to pay the fine twice.
I think this is outrageous - the communication of this change was clearly not adequate as so much money has been collected so quickly in fines.
I believe warnings should have been issued for the initial period for local residents/regular users of this road so I believe they are clearly taking advantage of our habitual journeys and making an offensive amount of money from local residents.
