It’s been a busy month for Camberley and District Silver Band, with a number of caroling opportunities all around the region.

Our many thanks go out to all of the kind shoppers of Camberley, Fleet and Aldershot who between them donated over £700 to the band’s fundraising.

This money will be split between the band, which is a registered charity, and the Frimley Park Hospital. The band's next performance will be at a Supper Concert hosted at Crowthorne Methodist Church on 25th February at 7pm.

Tickets and more information are available now on the band's website: http://camberleyband.org.uk/supper-concert-25th-february-2017

Chris Alexander, Musical Director of Camberley and District Silver Band, said: "I am hugely proud of the money raised by the band this year. Despite the chilly winds, the band is always made to feel welcome as we entertained shoppers and supporters around the Camberley region over the festive period, and thoroughly enjoyed helping everyone get into the Christmas spirit."

"My special thanks goes to all of those members of the public who so kindly donated to our collections this season - your money goes directly to thoroughly deserving local causes as well as helping the band continue to develop the next generation of brass musicians for us all to enjoy."
