Christmas is full of traditional sparkle at The Royal Star & Garter Homes in Surbiton.
For the disabled veterans who live in the Surbiton Home, the fun started when the Mayor of Kingston visited to turn on the Christmas tree lights and join in a seasonal singsong with festive refreshments.
As the big day approaches, staff and residents learn their parts for the Christmas Extravaganza, an unmissable tradition at the Home. This year, staff residents and volunteers gave a vibrant performance of Alice in Wonderland.
Christmas morning sees a visit from Father Christmas, who brings an individually selected gift for every resident. A traditional Christmas lunch is followed by visitors. A festive film and tea with the Christmas cake made by residents in October, round off a happy day.
Happy Christmas from The Royal Star & Garter Homes.
