A life saving babygrow that sparked a huge amount of online buzz is now available just in time for Christmas.

The limited edition CPR babygrow, created by St John Ambulance together with Tesco, is now available via sja.org.uk/getagrow for a £3 donation to St John Ambulance following huge demand from parents.

Sharing the vital lesson of baby CPR, the babygrow launched in October, received a huge amount of support from parents and celebrities. The video created for the campaign featuring baby first aid advice had more than 5 million views in its first week.

Sue Killen, CEO of St John Ambulance, says: “We're thrilled by the support we have received for the CPR babygrow. Lots of parents have contacted us to get their own babygrow and we are delighted Tesco has made them available online. These life saving babygrows would be ideal stocking fillers for new parents - but be quick as they are limited edition!”

The babygrow is available for babies aged three to six months old and was designed after 74% of parents, said that their baby not breathing is the first aid emergency they fear most, and only one in four mums and dads know what to do in this situation.

The babygrow features a reminder of baby CPR advice from nursery rhyme favourite, Humpty Dumpty, and has clear instructions on both the collar of the babygrow and the tag to help parents remember what to do if their baby stops breathing.

Visit sja.org.uk/getagrow to get a limited edition CPR babygrow for £3. The full £3 will be donated to leading first aid charity St John Ambulance, helping the charity continue its life saving work.
