Fund-raisers organised a coffee and makeover morning on Saturday to raise money for an end of life care charity.
Trinity Hospice, in Clapham Common, opened its doors to its new day service centre Mulberry Place and invited visitors to enjoy a head massage.
Guests warmed up with hot beverages in Mulberry Cafe, followed by a massage or a manicure.
The event was organised to raise funds for the charities 2012 appeal, which focuses on the hospice's nurses.
Local business supported the event, including Urban Retreat, Neal's Yard and Charlotte Ashenden.
Claire Lubbock, Trinity fundraiser said: "We had a small army of volunteers helping with coffees and cupcakes.
"It was great to see the community supporting their local charity. The children had a good time with face-painting and lots of mums enjoyed a bit of pampering - all while helping to raise several hundred pounds for Trinity."
The hospice turns 121-years-old this year and receives only a third of its funding from the NHS.
