Temperatures in the capital are set to plunge to 4C this weekend, with a dull sky overhead.
Thursday morning will be bright and sunny, if a little chilly, with highs of 15C and lows of 9C.
Scattered showers are expected across London in the afternoon but these will clear in the evening.
Friday is expected to be much cloudier, with outbreaks of rain throughout the day, turning heavy at times.
The sun might break through the clouds between 3pm and 7pm. Highs of 13C and lows of 8C are expected.
Rain is not expected on Saturday, but temperatures will drop to 6C.
Sunday will start off dry and bright but “cold rain and a strengthening breeze” are likely. Lows of 4C and highs of 10C are forecast.
Monday will be “cold, wet and windy”.
