The driver of a white Nissan sports car fled the scene after a crash while their passenger was taken to hospital.
At around 9.10pm on February 2, the car crashed into the central reservation on the A3 southbound at Wisley, just off junction 10 on the M25.
The passenger of the car sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The driver of the car, on the other hand, fled the scene on foot.
Police attempting to find the driver, including using the National Police Air Service, but were unable to find him.
The A3 was closed for some time during the Friday night but all lanes were reopened the next day.
Surrey Police are asking for any witnesses to contact them on 101 quoting PR/P18026961.
