A woman from Kingston has been jailed for manslaughter following the fatal stabbing of Derick Mulondo.

Shauna Doyle, 23 of Burritt Road, Kingston was sentenced to a total of seven years imprisonment for manslaughter at Kingston Crown Court today (January 5).

Another male Eric Wertz, 45 of Comber Road, New Malden was jailed for three years and four months for attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.

They also both received nine-month jail sentences for possession of an offensive weapon.

They both pleaded guilty to the offences at Kingston Crown Court on 4 December.

Police were called to the Cambridge Estate in Kingston at 6pm on 6 June following reports of a disturbance.

Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended and found Mr Mulondo, aged 38 suffering from critical stab injuries.

Despite extensive efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Doyle and Wertz were arrested that day and charged with murder on 8 June.

A 51- year old man was also arrested in connection with the investigation but was later released with no further action.
