A house in East Molesey was subject to a distraction burglary in which cash and jewellery were allegedly taken.
At about 4pm on Friday, August 4, two men went into a garden through its side gate, and when challenged by the homeowner said they were working on the garden behind, and needed access with equipment.
While one man walked with the victim in the garden, the other entered the house, say police.
The victim helped Surrey Police create two e-fits, and a 51-year-old man from Addlestone was arrested and released under investigation.
Police are appealing to find the second man, pictured above.
