A derailed train between Wimbledon and Clapham Junction has led to cancellations and delays on the South Western Railway line and the District Line.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day following the low-speed derailment, which happened just outside Wimbledon station.
All mainlines have been cleared, but District Line tracks remain blocked.
District Line trains between Wimbledon and Parsons Green are not running, and there have been delays and short-notice cancellations on South Western Railway trains, with some being diverted along a different route.
That section of the District Line is expected to remain closed all day, but South Western Railway tweeted at 3.36pm that "services are running close to their booked times".
District Line passengers can use their tickets on South Western Railway services via any reasonable route.
