An elderly pedestrian suffered a head injury after being knocked down by a motorcyclist in Molesey today.
Paramedics drove the man, believed to be in his 70s, as a priority to St George's Hospital in Tooting.
His injuries are considered serious, but not life-threatening, Surrey Police added.
Walton Road was closed in both directions for about an hour after the crash near the junction with Hansler Grove just before 11.40am.
Two ambulances and three police cars were in attendance, and an air ambulance had landed nearby, a witness added.
Traffic confestion has now been resolved, Traffic England advised.
