Surrey Police is investigating a report of a woman being touched inappropriately in Woking Park on Sunday afternoon.

The woman reported she was in the park in White Rose Lane around 2.30pm on June 11 when she was approached by a man.

The man began talking to her when she was sitting on a bench before “touching her inappropriately”.

The man described by the woman is white, in his early 40s, 6ft tall, of a slim or muscular build, with grey or brown cropped hair and facial stubble.

He spoke with a French accent and had three tattoos on his forearm.

He was wearing a white tee-shirt and carrying an orange canvas bag, and was riding a white mountain bike.

Officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have been approached by the same man, or with any other information which could assist their enquiries.
