Theresa May's decision to call a snap election backfired, and has resulted in a hung parliament.
After Labour's victory in Southampton Test, it made it impossible for any party to reach the 326 MPs required to achieve an absolute majority in the House of Commons.
The Conservatives currently have 308 seats, and are set to win another 10.
Labour are predicted to get 262.
Since forecasts predicted a hung parliament, various public figures and politicians, including leader of the opposition Jeremy Corbyn, have called for her resignation.
Conservative MP Anna Soubry said on live television this morning that the campaign had been "dreadful."
