London and Surrey can enjoy a summery and warm afternoon today, despite an overcast start to the day.
Some places may experience a little rain this morning but by 4pm the sun is expected to have broken through the clouds, leading to a warm and sunny afternoon.
The warmest part of the day should arrive just as everyone finishes work for the week, with temperatures of 23 degrees predicted for 5pm.
Looking ahead, Saturday may bring some light rain in the morning but this expected to clear by 11am. The rest of the day should be warm and humid if a little cloudy, with highs of 25 degrees.
Sunday seems less promising, with highs of 21 degrees predicted as well as occasionally patches of rain.
