Former footballer Marcus Bent has been fined after being found in possession of cocaine at Chessington World of Adventures.
The former Premier League striker, who played for clubs such as Everton and Blackburn Rovers, was arrested after been found with the Class A drug at the theme park on Monday.
Having been detained overnight, Bent, who lives in Bridge Road, East Molesey, appeared before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to one count of possession of cocaine.
He was fined £385, with £85 costs.
Earlier this year, Bent was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment, suspended for two years, for affray and possession of cocaine.
Over his career he appeared for 14 different clubs, playing 574 games and scoring 113 goals.
