Two Old Malden men have been charged over an acid attack that left a mother of six with “life-changing” burns to her face.
Brothers Billy Nathan Midmore, 22, and Geoffrey Christopher Midmore, 26, were arrested on Monday in connection with the attack that happened near the Turtle Bay bar in Southampton on September 18.
Victim Carla Whitlock, 37, has now been released from hospital but has extensive burns and may never see out of one eye.
Billy Midmore, Sheephouse Way, Old Malden, has been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Geoffrey Midmore has been charged with grievous bodily harm and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent.
The pair will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday, October 1).
A 33-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender was released on bail until November 20.
