FESTIVAL – OnBlackheath on Saturday and Sunday

MUSIC – Frankly Aretha at The Half Moon in Putney on Sunday

FOOD – Foodival in Upper Tooting Road and Tooting High Street on Saturday and Sunday

EXHIBITION – 75 years after The Battle of Britain – Richmond Remembers World War Two at Museum of Richmond from Tuesday until next March
The museum has teamed up with Richmond Local History Society to tell the stories of Richmond’s involvement in the war. It encompasses private artefacts, photos, letter and reminiscences from local people. It is free and open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday. Go to museumofrichmond.com
MUSIC – Bay City Rollers starring Les McKeown at Epsom Playhouse on Sunday

MUSIC – That’ll Be the Day at New Wimbledon Theatre on Sunday

OUTDOORS – Merton Arts Trail launch on Saturday and Sunday
Merton Arts Trail – which features an Artists’ Open House next weekend and the weekend after – kicks off with a weekend of arts and crafts activities across the borough this weekend. It includes a Have a Go at Life Drawing in the Piazza, Wimbledon Broadway, from 11am to 5pm on both days and a family friendly art nature trail drop-in on Wimbledon Common from 10am to 5pm on Sunday. OUTDOORS – Healthy Walk in Pyrford from 10.15am on Saturday
Get out and about on a leisurely two mile walk around Wey Navigation and Pyrford Golf Course, which may well involve a stop for coffee and/or a visit to Dunsborough Park. The walk meets at the lane opposite the former Wyllie and Mar in Ripley GU23 6AR.
THEATRE – The Importance of Being Earnest at Richmond Theatre until Saturday
Nigel Havers returns to Oscar Wilde’s masterpiece 30 years after he last played the role of Algernon Moncrieff. Not only is he older, but so is the rest of the cast, and it works as a farce within a farce as the fictional Bunbury Players am-dram group ‘perform’ Wilde’s Earnest. DRINK – Ale and Cider Festival at The Antelope, Surbiton, until Sunday
The Antelope hosts its first ever beer festival with more than 60 ales and ciders available over three days, alongside live music, a barbecue and hog roast. The pub’s open from 11am to midnight each day and entry is free.
THEATRE – Blood Brothers at New Wimbledon Theatre until Saturday

MUSIC – Classics in the Park in Wimbledon Park athletics stadium from 6pm tonight and Saturday (September 11 and 12)
