Pair trapped in Cambridge Road estate lift

A man and a woman were rescued from a lift on the Cambridge estate last night.

Kingston firefighters were called at about 9pm to the Childerley block, and used a special key to open the outer lift doors before prising open the inner set.

Neither the man nor the woman was hurt, firefighters said.
