Gas leak causing traffic disruption
A gas leak is causing traffic disruption in Kingston today.
Temporary traffic lights are in place at the junction of Coombe Lane West and Galsworthy Road, near Kingston Hospital.
A Southern Gas Networks spokeswoman said: “We’re working to repair a gas leak in the junction.
"We set up temporary four-way lights around the work area and we’re working constantly until the leak is found and fixed.”
She added no one had been evacuated from the area.
Kingston Council said it was not sure how long it would take to fix the leak.
