Two more people have been charged by police investigating the murder of oil executive Carole Waugh.

The body of Ms Waugh, 50, was found in a lock-up garage in Lime Road, New Malden, on August 2.

Two men, Rakesh Bhayani, 40, and Nicholas Kutner, 47, have already been charged with her murder and connected fraud offences.

Today (December 19), Met police said two women have been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud in connection with the investigation.

Debbie Burke, 48, of Crossbow Road in Hainault, Essex, and Elaine Perkins, 51, of Claybury Road in Ilford, east London, will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on January 10.

The pair are accused of conspiring with Mr Bhayani and Mr Kutner of defrauding banks and financial instutions between April and August this year.

Millionaire Ms Waugh, who lived in London, was last seen alive on April 16.

Her body was found almost four months later inside a Volkswagen Golf parked in the garage.

A post-mortem examination revealed she died of a single stab wound to the chest.
