A woman who died on the Cambridge Road estate at the weekend has been named.
Prayoung Padungkwan, 44, was found at her home in Burwell, a block of flats on the edge of the estate, at around 6am on Sunday.
An inquest was opened and adjourned at West London Coroner’s Court today.
Police initially launched a murder investigation into the death, but are now treating it as unexplained.
Today, residents and friends of Mrs Padungkwan, known as Young, paid tribute to her.
Julie Dodd , 53, described Mrs Padungkwan as an animal lover, with two young children and several cats.
Ms Dodd said: “She was a lovely lady. Very bright, always had flowers, always smiling and happy.
“She loved animals and she loved children.
“Everybody loved her round here. When we heard, I cried and my kids cried.
“It’s all very sad.”
Resident Norman Quatermain said: “She would sit in her front garden all summer, day and night, and say hello to anyone who passed.
“If somebody was having a barbecue she would bring them food. She was just a lovely lady.”
Another resident, who asked not to be named, simply said: “She was a very nice lady.”
A spokeswoman for the coroner declined to give a provisional cause of death.
