Commuters travelling through Thornton Heath face delays of about 30 minutes after a woman was injured getting on to a train.
The woman is believed to have suffered a broken leg whilst boarding the train at Norbury.
The 8.26am train from Victoria to Sutton stopped at Thornton Heath station after the emergency cord was pulled.
Emergency services are at the scene.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance said: "We were called just before 9am that a person had fallen on a train at Thornton Heath railway station, we currently have an ambulance crew on the scene."
Passengers are being warned to expect delays in both directions.
