Controversial plans for the proposed Tesco development in Tolworth will feature at a public exhibition next month.
Tesco hopes it will ease opposition to its idea to build 662 new homes and a new Tesco superstore on the former Ministry of Defence site next to Tolworth station.
A spokesman for Tesco said: "It will be a good opportunity to inform and engage with residents and businesses in Tolworth."
Plans for the controversial 11-storey development were submitted to Kingston Council last week.
Tesco stresses the development's green credentials, which will use the latest "combined heat and power technology" and says it will attract more shoppers and residents to Tolworth. But critics say such a big development will worsen traffic congestion on the busy A3 and drive many smaller traders on the Broadway out of business.
The public exhibition will take place at Your Move estate agents at 142 Tolworth Broadway on: Thursday, October5, from noon to 8pm; Friday, October 6, from noon to 5pm, and Saturday, October 7, from noon to 4pm.
