Surrey leader to hold Q&A for residents

Leader of Surrey County Council (SCC), Councillor Andrew Povey, will answer residents’ questions at an event at Dorking Halls in Reigate Road, Dorking, on Thursday, March 25.

He will be joined by representatives from Surrey Police, NHS Surrey, borough councils and members of the business and voluntary sectors.

Questions already submitted include: “What is the council doing to reduce carbon emissions?” and “What is SCC’s policy regarding building on the greenbelt?”

The event takes place from 7pm until 9pm and it is free, although people should book in advance.
