Liberal Democrat mayoral candidate, Brian Paddick, visited Worcester Park to garner support for the upcoming mayoral election.

Mr Paddick was joined by Lib Dem Assembley candidate Abigail Lock and local MP Paul Burstow on Saturday, April 21.

Mr Paddick said: "After talking to shoppers and shop owners, you cannot help but be struck by Worcester Park’s vibrant community.

"People care deeply for their local area, which has been ignored by successive Mayors of London.

"In contrast, after much hard work, Sutton Lib Dems have secured an Outer London Fund bid to regenerate Worcester Park and North Cheam and have committed the Environment Agency to investigate flooding in the area.

"In myself and Abigail Lock you have two candidates who have the borough of Sutton ingrained in their hearts, and if elected will continue to work with Paul Burstow and your local Lib Dems to give Sutton a stronger voice in City Hall."
