Ex-England international footballer Jamie Redknapp has been fined £60 by magistrates for speeding on the A3 in Hook.
Staines Magistrates’ Court heard the retired footballer, who lives in Birds Hill Drive, Oxshott, was in a Mercedes travelling at 66mph - 16mph over the limit - on March 11.
Mr Redknapp, who did not appear in court for the hearing on Monday, September 6, was issued with a fixed penalty notice following the incident, but did not fill the form out, the court heard.
Along with the £60 fine, he also had three points put on his licence.
His lawyers were told he would also have to pay £43 in costs and surcharge of £15.
