A man who sexually assaulted a series of women – including a 16-year-old – has been jailed.

Piotr Rubach, of no fixed abode, committed one of the offences at Worcester Park railway station, near Malden Road, as well as three others in London and Brighton.

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court before he was sentenced to ten months in prison for three sexual assaults and one instance of harassment or stalking.

Detective Constable Adrienne Curzon said: “Rubach left each of his victims with those distressing memories travelling on public transport.

“No one should ever be subjected to this type of behaviour at stations or on our trains and we would encourage victims to report offences to us.”

DC Curzon stressed no incident or detail is ever ‘too small’ or ‘trivial’ and the victims are not at fault.

Rubach was sentenced in court on April 24 after he was identified by officers who had analysed CCTV footage in each of the locations the offences were committed.

She added: “We will always take you seriously and treat you with respect.

“If you experience unwanted sexual behaviour of any type, we want you to report it.

“We will do everything we can to bring the offender to justice.”
