Kingston CCG has moved office out of the borough to a shared office with Richmond.

Having previously been in the Guildhall, staff for the organisation responsible for most NHS services in the area, will now work in Teddington High Street, alongside colleagues from the borough’s northern neighbour.

A spokeswoman for Kingston CCG said the move will allow the commissioning groups to continue working closely together, as they have increasingly done for the past year.

She said: “By continuing to work closely together, we can continue to develop a standardisation of approach, and that will get rid of the postcode lottery system we have currently – meaning all of south west London will get the highest quality of care.

“And that is only going to improve patient outcomes.”

But she said the groups, who share a management team, will continue to do all their meetings and engagement separately in each borough.
