A burglar who was brazenly wearing an expensive watch he stole earlier that day has been jailed, and will be deported to Albania after his sentence.

Dorian Puka, living in Ealing, was stopped by plain-clothes police officers in Berrylands, who were targeting the area after a recent increase in burglaries.

The officers searched him and found expensive watches, along with a purse he could not account for.

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into custody, and police traced the items to a burglary that day in Surbiton.

Puka was even wearing an “exclusive and expensive” watch, taken during a burglary that day in Tolworth.

He pleaded guilty to the burglaries on December 22, and he has been sentenced to three years and six months.
