Residents can now put forward their favourite community champions for the annual mayor’s community awards.
The awards, which are organised by Kingston Council, are designed to help recognise the borough’s “community-focused superstars”.
A special young person’s award has also been introduced for anyone under-21 who has “set an example for their peers”.
Kingston mayor Geoff Austin said: “Over the past eight months as Mayor, I have heard countless stories of people going above and beyond the call of duty to help others.
“Now is the time to nominate someone who deserves special recognition. I look forward to learning more about the fantastic work of volunteers within our borough.”
The deadline for nominations is 10am on Monday, February 13. Visit Kingston.gov.uk.
