A van driver delivering supplies to a Surbiton island bar got himself into some trouble when he forgot to put his handbrake up at the weekend.
The driver was delivering food to the bar in Raven's Ait, which is famous for hosting weddings and conferences in the middle of the Thames in Surbiton, when it rolled back into the river.
Witnesses said the Roman Self Drive hire van fell in at about 11pm on Friday night and rescue crews were still trying to pull it out well into Saturday.
No one was injured.
