Commuters faced disruption on the railways this morning as signal failure meant trains were on a go-slow into London.
South West Trains services across south west London were delayed or revised at short notice owing to signal problems between New Malden and Wimbledon.
Engineers are repairing the fault with the signalling cables according to South West Trains, which meant more services would be affected across the area.
Engineers needed access to the track to find a solution as quickly as possible. Delays, including trains running slower than normal on London-bound lines, were expected to last until 10am.
