The case of a man left beaten up in the middle of a bus lane in Kingston town centre has been closed.
Police officers found the 20-year-old victim with cuts and bruises to his forehead and head, opposite McDonald’s in Eden Street on Saturday, October 25, at about 3.15am in the morning.
Witnesses claimed he had been attacked by a group of men, but the group had dispersed as officers arrived.
The victim did not want to give a statement to police.
A 19-year-old woman from Hounslow was arrested on suspicion of causing GBH but no further action was taken against her and the case has been closed, a police spokeswoman said.
