A story about angels written by a Kingston schoolgirl will be premiering at the Cornerhouse this month.

The Truth About Angels follows the story of five young people whose lives change following these revelations.

The play asks what would you do if your guardian angel was someone you knew and saw every day? And what if she was a friend from school rather than the majestical being of your imagination?

The production written by 15-year-old Gabrielle Prabhavalkar was commissioned by Kingston Junior Drama Company.

Prabhavalkar says: “I was so excited to have my play picked up. I just thought it would be interesting to do something on angels.”
