Are there any pet owners out there missing a cheeky cockatiel, a cuddly tabby or a black and white cat?

New Malden Vets in Burlington Road is appealing for the owners of three missing pets to come forward before the search for a new home begins.

The trio were brought in separately to the veterinary practice, and staff are keen to find the animals' original owners.

New Malden Vets' Hannah Shipley said: "We are desperately seeking the owners of the animals to come forward.

"They are very friendly so evidently had an owner. Someone must be really missing them."

The cockatiel, temporarily named by staff as Prucilla, flew into a garden in Queens Road on the August 27.

She is extremely friendly, and likes to sit in reception whistling at clients and mimicking their laughs.

She did not come in with any form of identification, but staff feel she that could have had a male owner as she gravitates towards males in particular.

The first cat is a male tabby with white markings around its mouth.

He was brought in on September 5 and is estimated to be around three or four years old.

He was found hanging around Welbeck Close, and had been there for around two weeks before he was brought in.

He is not micro chipped, but had a black collar on, so was previously owned.

‘Felix’ a black and white, short haired male cat was brought in this week.

The five year old cat is neutered and micro chipped.

Vets have been unable to get through on the contact details so possibly the owners are on holiday or the number is no longer working.

He was found near Banstead and has white markings on his nose, chest and front two paws.

All three animals can only be kept at the vets for a month, before new homes will be looked for.
