James Bond star Sir Roger Moore is coming to Kingston next month to sign copies of his latest memoir.
The veteran actor, who starred in seven 007 adventures from 1973 to 1985, will be at Waterstones in Kingston to promote his new book Last Man Standing: Tales From Tinseltown.
The book is a collection of stories from Moore’s seven decade career in the movie business, which has seen him work with the likes of Peter Sellers, Sean Connery and Frank Sinatra.
He became a household name in 1962 when he starred as Simon Templar in The Saint, before appearing alongside Tony Curtis in The Persuaders! in 1971.
In 1973 he took on the most iconic role of his career, taking over as James Bond from Sean Connery with Live and Let Die.
He would go on to star in six more Bond films over 12 years, making him the longest serving actor to play the agent.
The book signing will take place at 1pm on Saturday, September 13.
