The road was reopened last night after the bus pulled away leaving the BMW balanced on a low wall.

Traffic was moving normally this morning after severe delays and disruption last night.

Investigators took measurements into the evening, spraying yellow paint around debris and tyre marks on the ground in Fife Road and Clarence Street.

Three people were injured in the crash, which happened at about 6pm and drew hundreds of onlookers.

Police shouted at rubbernecking drivers slowing down on the other side of the road to take pictures with their mobile phones.
