Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed leaving him with cuts and bruises to his face.
The attack happened at about 8.15pm on Saturday, January 21, when a man was walking along a footpath between Waterway Road and Emlyn Lane in Leatherhead.
Three men approached the man, who was in his 20s, threatened and attacked him taking his wallet, silver Samsung mobile phone and passport.
The man suffered cuts and bruises to his face during the attack and taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Simon Evans said: "This was an appalling attack on a lone, young man and I would appeal to anyone who has information on the attack or the whereabouts of the stolen items to contact Surrey Police.
"The victim was left shaken and upset following the ordeal and we need to find those responsible and bring them to justice."
One of the attackers is described as black and in his mid 20s and another as white, in his mid 20s and was wearing jeans and a black top.
